Corey wrote a wonderful story today about his pet dog "Baked Beans". He used coherent sentence structure and only needed help with some words. We are encouraging him to now use more than 3 words for his story.

Corey successfully counted to 6 when he was loading bullets into his pistol today. He was so excited and started shooting into the air with glee. We will be continuing to work on counting to 10 with other items preferably.
Corey managed to count with 1 to 1 correspondence today up to 2 when counting sheep in the above picture. He was very thrilled when we gave him high 5's.
His next target is to count up to 3 sheep.

Corey usually falls over and hurts himself when he tries to negotiate stairs. We have been have regular physio sessions focusing on this and he can now walk up and down stairs with some physical assistance without incident.
We will continue to work towards him being independent at this

Corey often has difficulty standing still and focusing on anything for lengths of time. On our trip to the museum he managed to show a real interest in the trains and focused his attention on them for over 5 mins. He was able to answer simple factual questions about them.
We will try to explore other areas that will hold his attention.
